This is my very first EVER Blog entry! Exciting. I'm not so great at writing so I'll keep it short and sweet!
To those of you who don't know me, I'm Jenna and I'm the strange one behind

I'm sick ALLOT - Today is no different... Or is it??
I have had this creative itch since I arose this morning.. So many plan's.. instead I spend the majority of my day having a good old' fashioned wine about the amount of pain I was in..
After a fair bit of medicating I whipped out two packets of 'DYLON' Fabric dye I picked up in town a week prior in colour's of Bahama Blue & Intense Violet!
If you haven't heard of 'DYLON' yet, let me be the first to tell you it is well worth $5 per pack!
I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS DYE!! THE COLOURS ARE SO VIBRANT!
Before today I had only ever used 'RIT' Dye! And despite the extremely friendly price (Around $2 a pack) I was not 100% happy with the colour strength!
I AM SOLD ON DYLON!!
Just as well cause I don't think my hands are going to change back for a few day's at least!
Also Jazzed up some old pillow cases we had lying about... So awful I would not doom any pillow
to that fate... My partner Mark picked up some new pillows yesterday so these will be
PERFECT!!
Today's Technique: Shibori!
Shibori is a Japanese term for methods of dyeing cloth by binding, stitching, folding, twisting &
compressing. In Japan, the earliest known example of cloth dyed with the Shibori technique dates
back to the 8th century where Indigo was the main dye used! I was immediately inspired by this fascinating technique since I first read about the history and beauty!
Dropping out until next time - <3
